## 1. We Don’t Have a Dress Code

We do not require one uniform or one style. Dress to look good, feel confident and get on with your work. We have a young team; fashion and personal style are welcome.

The standard is simple: **clean, cared for, suitable for the office, and properly covered when you move.** A nightclub outfit, pyjamas or worn-out clothes are not work clothes. Use the examples to see the difference.

Our aim is a good-looking office where everyone makes an effort. Your own style, fashion and a flattering fit are welcome. Consider the whole outfit: clothes, shoes, hair and accessories.

Before leaving home, check four things:

1. **Clean and cared for:** clean clothes, neat hair and shoes in good condition.
2. **Fit your actual shape:** a flattering cut, without strained buttons or a squeezed waistband.
3. **Right for the day:** dress more sharply for business visits and meetings.
4. **Covered when you move:** sit, bend and reach with underwear covered and no colours or patterns showing through.

A good outfit does not have to be expensive. Fit, condition and the complete look matter.

These guidelines apply to ordinary working days at Head Office. Business appointments and practical needs have the guidance below.

## 2. Business Visits and Meetings

For appointments we host or attend, dress for the people, purpose and setting.

| Occasion or level | What to wear |
| --- | --- |
| Meetings with regulators; official business events | Full matching suit. Men add a tie. Women wear an equally formal suit with a neat blouse. Finish with polished closed shoes. |
| Formal business meeting | Matching suit without a tie, when the meeting brief permits. |
| Less formal business meeting | Well-fitting blazer, neat inner top, tailored trousers and leather shoes. |
| Relaxed business appointment | Neat shirt or blouse, tailored trousers and leather shoes, when this level suits the appointment. |

This includes clients, partners, auditors, board members, shareholders, investors and the media, plus planned company photography or filming. The organiser should communicate clothing expectations at least **one working day ahead** when the schedule is known. For an unexpected visit, notify the team promptly and make practical adjustments, such as adding a blazer.

Coloured blazers with neat jeans belong in **everyday style**. Polos and casual combinations are for ordinary office days unless the meeting brief allows them.

## 3. Read the Whole Outfit

| Symbol | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Green ✓ | Good looking. |
| Neutral ○ | Allowed, not encouraged. Choose a better option when you can. |
| Red ✕ | Do not wear. Change the garment or shoes shown. |

Image numbers run in presentation order and match the scrolling guide. Use the number on the photo when discussing a look. A green mark applies to the outfit shown, not every possible use of that garment.

## 4. Four Things to Check

### Clean

- Wear clean clothes without noticeable stains. Ordinary creases during the day are fine.
- Keep hair clean and arranged. Long hair is fine; tangled, matted or visibly neglected hair needs attention before work.
- Keep shoes clean. Manage body odour and avoid fragrance that overwhelms nearby colleagues.

### Cared For, with a Good Fit

White, coloured and checked shirts all work. A neat polo sits between a shirt and a T-shirt. Clean white sneakers can look good with a shirt and tailored **long** trousers. Neat long jeans and deliberately oversized clothes are fine; stretched collars, sagging hems, ripped jeans and trousers dragging on the floor are not.

**Tight is not automatically flattering.** Choose the fit for your actual shoulders, chest, stomach, waist and hips. Fitted clothes can show your shape, but should not squeeze the waist, strain buttons, bunch across the stomach or ride up. If they do, change the size or cut. Sit, bend and reach before deciding.

Belts should have intact edges and holes, with the loose end held neatly. Peeling leather, ragged edges, a dangling end or an oversized distracting buckle spoils the outfit. Price and brand are not the test.

#### Shirts, Jeans and Tech-Office Style

A neat shirt with long jeans and clean sneakers is a good everyday combination. Small checks, fine stripes and plain colours all work. An untucked shirt is fine when its cut and hem look intentional. Jeans must be free from large tears, heavy fraying and dragging hems.

For another tech-office look, add a lightweight overshirt over a plain tee, or a fine-knit cardigan over a simple opaque top. Keep the layers in shape and the shoes clean. These are ordinary office looks; use the business-appointment guidance for formal meetings.

#### Leggings Need a Well-Styled Top

**Leggings are allowed**, whether plain or with tasteful design details. Choose opaque fabric and a good fit, then style the upper half properly: a crisp shirt, a good blouse, a tailored jacket or another polished top. Neat closed shoes help finish the look. Black, navy, brown and burgundy can all work when the outfit is coordinated. The guide shows three acceptable outfits and three unsuitable ones.

A tight short crop top that exposes a wide strip of waist, a matching Pilates set, or a shapeless gym T-shirt with leggings is not an office outfit. Choose a proper longer top or a tailored layer. Check the outfit standing, sitting and bending: the fabric must stay opaque, the waistband must sit smoothly and the top must provide suitable coverage.

#### Shorts: Different Guidance for Men and Women

- **Men: do not wear shorts to work.** This includes tailored shorts and Bermudas, even with a shirt, polo, blazer or loafers. Wear proper long trousers.
- **Women:** tailored shorts can work when the whole outfit is especially polished, with a proper blouse or tailored layer and refined shoes. Check coverage while sitting and bending.
- **Women’s fitted tee + tailored shorts:** allowed, not encouraged. Choose a more polished upper half.
- **Do not wear:** denim shorts, including neatly hemmed ones; sleep, beach or gym shorts; extremely brief shorts; very revealing tops combined with brief shorts.

#### Shoes Finish the Outfit

**Closed shoes are the main recommendation:** polished leather shoes, loafers, refined flats, or clean sneakers with an appropriate everyday outfit.

Sandals are generally **allowed, not encouraged** ○, including men’s Birkenstock-style sandals. Especially refined women’s open-back sandals are a good-looking ✓ exception when the outfit is equally polished. Basic shapeless foam slides, worn rubber flip-flops and thin disposable hotel-room slippers are unsuitable.

**Crocs and puffy cartoon slippers are not banned, but they are not a main recommendation.** They remain neutral ○ for indoor office walking. If you like wearing them, keep them clean and any decoration neat. Change before meetings, receiving guests or leaving the office.

Leather shoes still need care. Clean, repair or replace heavily scuffed, peeling or damaged pairs. **Do not step on the heel backs of any shoes:** leather shoes, loafers, sneakers or another type. Socks do not fix the look. Put your heels fully inside and repair or replace damaged heel counters. This means crushing an existing shoe back; purpose-made open-back shoes follow the sandal guidance above.

### Suitable for the Office

**Football jerseys and Hawaiian shirts are allowed, not encouraged.** Keep them clean and wear proper long trousers. Change before business visits or meetings. A neat ordinary shirt or polo is a better office choice.

Do not wear pyjamas, old undershirts, homewear, beachwear or gym outfits for an ordinary desk-work day. This includes thin, flowing elephant-print pants and shiny sports track pants. A collar does not make pyjamas into office clothing.

Ear gauges or stretched earlobes, nose and eyebrow piercings, punk-style hair colours and black lipstick are outside the company’s office standard. Ordinary earrings, tattoos and hair length do not have separate prescribed limits.

We do not require designated colours, suits every day, stockings, long sleeves or shirts tucked in at all times. Pick a style that looks good and suits the work.

Worksite uniforms and protective equipment are appropriate when the task requires them. Travel layers for sun, rain or dust are fine for the commute; remove commute-only items at your desk unless there is another practical need.

### Covered When You Move

- **Thin fabric:** bra or underwear colours and patterns must not show clearly through a shirt, trousers or skirt. Use opaque fabric or an opaque lining. A skin-coloured underlayer alone does not fix fabric that still shows the details. Check near a window and under office lighting; wet fabric can turn transparent.
- **Camisoles:** can look good with proper tailored trousers and neat shoes. The top must be opaque, stay in place and cover properly at the neckline and armholes.
- **Small crop:** a narrow waist gap, roughly 0.5–1 cm in the illustrated look, can work. Do not expose a broad area of the torso.
- **Bandeau:** a standalone bandeau is not suitable. The exception requires a long, opaque top reaching the waistband **and** an outer layer worn throughout the day. A short bandeau exposing around six inches of waist is still unsuitable with a blazer over it.
- **Skirts and dresses:** above the knee is fine when the cut looks neat and stays covered while sitting or bending. A micro-miniskirt ending close to the crotch or a very short party dress is not suitable.
- **Extreme combinations:** a revealing camisole with extremely brief shorts is not an office outfit.

Check necklines, armholes and button gaps as well. A brief accidental glimpse of a strap during normal movement is not the same as an outfit designed to show underwear.

## 5. Plan for the Day

Casual Friday keeps the same standards. Video meetings need an appropriate complete outfit in case you stand up. After heavy rain or a spill, change out of wet, transparent or visibly stained clothes when practical. For company activities and site visits, follow the organiser’s brief and required protective equipment; prepare a change if the day also includes a business meeting.

## 6. Practical Exceptions

Pregnancy, disability, injury, casts, medical devices, orthopaedic footwear and fabric sensitivities take priority. Wear the maternity cut, recovery sandal or other practical item you need. Do not force injured feet into the ordinary shoe examples.

Hijabs, other religious head coverings, turbans, mourning attire and clothing for religious observance are welcome. No special permission or explanation is required.

Contact HR if you need help. Share the information needed to arrange it; a medical certificate is not required merely to confirm a need that is already clear.

## 7. Clear, Private Feedback

If an outfit needs changing, your manager or HR will explain the issue and the practical adjustment **in private**. No public comments or group messages. Discuss the outfit.

This guide relies on cooperation. Clothing concerns under it carry **no penalty, written record, formal warning under work rules or effect on performance reviews**.

HR owns the guide. Teams do not add their own rules. Managers who are unsure should ask HR first. If a concern seems unfair, ask HR to review it against the four considerations. Personal preference alone is not grounds for asking someone to change. Changes to this approach require open discussion and a revised document; penalties cannot be added informally.

## 8. Settling In

Existing colleagues have **60 days from the issue date** to read, understand and adjust. The company will not raise individual clothing concerns during that period. New colleagues have their own 60 days from their start date.

Send questions to **[HR Contact]**. Recurring questions will be clarified for everyone. Issue and effective dates remain subject to the company’s official announcement.
